I also purchased the Automated Sales Formula for $497. I agree with the other posts that you cannot get the system set up in 3 hours, especially with the software problems they were having. A new plug-in, was added, to make it easier, but with the “wait” for that, it couldn’t be done within the 72 hour cancellation limit.

There were two of the 15 product pages that had been cancelled. They replaced one, but not the other one, so we were left shorted by one product page, but yet still charged the $97 VIP set up fee for next set of three.

The ATS (Automated Traffic System) is a great idea, but again, it didn’t work properly. I thought it was very cool, and a great way to draw traffic, but what’s the use, if no one is interested in the 15 products. I too, set up campaigns, for my squeeze pages, but it produced no buyers. I did this for hours at a time. But, once you do a search in the ATS, and then try to do it a second time, it would bring up all the skipped replies instead of a brand new group of twitters for your keyword. This is when I put in a support ticket, in which I learned, that support had to do something manually to re-set and get it going again.

The product pages were not done very professionally, and I would guess that is the reason no one was interested in purchasing the products. They videos, for the products, were long, boring, and they speaker had a difficult time not making errors in his speaking. Not quality at all.

It seems that they had more people, who signed up for this system, than the support team could handle. You would have to wait 2-3 days in the beginning to get an answer. That’s a long time to wait when you are trying to set the system up and can’t proceed until you get an answer. And if you had a follow-up question to the first question, it would take another 2-3 days to get an answer….and so on. There were times when I would wait anywhere from 3-7 days for an answer. Part of that problem was that the support team would say my question was a tech issue, so they would forward it to the tech team, but then I would never get an answer from the tech team, so I don’t think my question was forwarded. They would ask for us to be patient, so I would wait for days for an answer and when I didn’t get one, I would re-submit my question, and then they would ask us not to re-submit questions, that they would get back to us as soon as possible. So…..one question, with a follow up question….and a follow up question to that question, would take weeks, because you can’t just have a 5 minute conversation and get your questions answered because they have no customer service by phone.

There were times when I would submit a question, and I would get an answer to something I didn’t even ask….so back to square one……asking the same question in a different way, so they might understand. And then waiting days for that answer.

I will say, that the tech/support desk people were always courteous. Never rude. They would try to be helpful and sometimes were. If there is one thing good I can say about this system, the support team was very nice.

Now on to the refund…… There should have been a longer grace period for refunds, since it takes so long to set up, and then, you need to give it a try, to give the system the full benefit. Once I realized that this system was going to make me ZERO money, I requested a refund. I was told the same as other folks; the refunds are for those who order in haste and they cannot give a refund since I used the system. The support person quoted….”It’s not meant for people to use, and then refund”. How can a person try the system, if they don’t use it? And then once you do use it, it doesn’t work?

After than response, I sent another, not as nice, more demanding email, after trying to solve this amicably. I then did receive a refund. Only for the $497, but not for the $97 VIP set up fee and the other $29 charge. And speaking of the $97 VIP charge……I cancelled that in the system the same day as I was charged for it and they still would not refund my money, even though the transaction was on the same day. Plus, I didn’t even receive the three new product pages for what I was charged.

I really think this system could have been a great system, had they ironed all the kinks out before it was launched it. They should have had (1) the new plug-in in place to make it easier for people to set up, thus less support requests. (2) made sure the ATS system worked properly. (3) have a better system of support, so it wouldn’t take so long for answers. (4) Had more professional squeeze pages, with a quality speaker. (5) tested to see if the 15 products were products that would sell. (6) Test the entire system to make sure everything was working and a money making system, before it was launched (although, they say it was…..however, I question that).

I think Keith should refund people who request it. That would, at least, keep any negativity off the internet about him, and people would see him as reputable.

Paula

I purchased Keith Wellman’s Automated Sales Formula on January 10, 2010. I had a series of problems with their products and the software they provided. When I asked for a refund I was informed that their refund “grace period” was 72 hours.

Here is a series of Posts I made on a blog which was exploring the ASF offering:

When I asked for a refund, I was told that their window was, “The 72 hour period is a grace period for those that make decision in haste and for people that see the product and are not satisfied. It’s not meant for people to use, and then refund, it’s way to valuable for that.”

At around $500 I agree that ASF is “way to (sic) valuable” for them, but it is of no use for me. It certainly seems to me that a 72 hour grace period is a time-frame that is not about customer service. It is about grabbing as much money as possible and then ignoring any problems that customers might have with the product.

For instance, I thought the “Automated Traffic Syphon” would be a great benefit. But for many days when I tried to use the service, it didn’t work correctly. It did not do the task it was supposed perform. My support tickets went un-answered except I was told that they were working on improvements. When they finally came out with the improved version, it did not work in the automated fashion that had been described. The improvements required manual interventions to make it do its tasks. I was not a happy camper to have purchased something that didn’t work and when they “fixed” it, it required me to do all the ongoing work for this “automated” process.

The 15 squeeze pages were another problem. After finally getting the traffic to start coming to the squeeze pages from the “Automated Traffic Syphon” I thought I would give the squeeze pages a try before I asked for the refund. After 500 click-throughs to the squeeze pages, I only had one visitor actually give an email address to see the sales video (and that visitor never confirmed).

When I asked for the refund in a support ticket, I received a “personal” email from “Erica S.” and the email seemed to be a very business-like response to my request. But the email was “No-Reply” so that unsuspecting folks might think they could talk with this “person” by replying to the email. Structurally, this seems to be designed to stop (or delay) people from trying to continue the conversation about the refund request.

Needless to say, I am angry and I feel scammed. I am angry that their whole process seems to be designed to take my (and everyone else’s) money and not give satisfactory products, services, or customer service.

Quite frankly, I’m going to make it my business to tell as many folks as possible about Keith Wellman’s business practices.

One additional note:

Someone is doing something okay in Keith Wellman’s back office.

I sent an email to the no-reply email address, before I realized that it was “no-reply” and someone did receive that email, re-opened my ticket, and posted my email into a ticket reply.

I am now posting these two comments as an additional reply in their support ticket system. Let’s see if something good happens in their office for me.

Rodger Bailey.

Well, I got a response back from Keith Wellman’s office:

=============
Hi Rodger,
Unfortunately, we cannot refund your purchase due to our policy. However, we will be more than happy to help you with your Automated Sales Formula.
Thank You & Have a wonderful day!
Erica S.
Everyday Wealth Support/
Keith Wellman’s Office
==============

So, it becomes clear that their policy (the 72 hour grace period) is a policy for taking money and not providing service.

They cover their butt by saying, “However, we will be more than happy to help you with your Automated Sales Formula.” But after the poor service to start with and the squeeze pages that do nothing, I do not want to waste any time with whatever they want to offer me.

Oh, yes. I wanted to mention that their company name now seems to be “Everyday Wealth” and I’m guessing that with their excellent sales page, and their 72 hour grace period, they do have Everyday Wealth for themselves.

My suggestion is to avoid any offer by Keith Wellman like a plague.

Rodger Bailey

=======

So, they did not provide working software within the 72 hour Grace period. Because I did not know about that grace period, I continued to work at their system to get traffic started and see if their system actually worked. From my experience it did not work at all.

Their product and software did not work very well: Their promo material told that their process would improve on the standard text sales approach. I was able to get 500 clicks to the squeeze page they provided, and only one person provided an email address to get to their sales video. that person did not confirm with AWebwer, so in two weeks of work, there were no sales and no entries in my list. Very poor results from their highly hyped squeeze pages, sales pages, and their software to create traffic.

I feel like I have been scammed. It certainly seems that there 72 hour grace period is designed so that they make money, because I don’t think purchasers of this system could make money. If they had the industry-standard 30 day money-back guarentee, I doubt if they could make any money either.

This is a site for dis-satisfied customers of Keith Wellman to talk about our difficulties with his products, services, and customer service. Each of us will have a slightly different story, but there will be some common threads.

I’m asking participants to join the site. If we develop a critical mass of members and enough information to warrant it, we could find a way to take action to recover some of our money.

I’m sure that many of us will have strong feelings about the way we have been treated by his organization. If we want to band together and find a way to take action to achieve a refund of our money and our equilibrium, we will need to keep our posts civil.

This means that our site needs to be without flaming and without foul language. We will need to make all posts be without exaggeration and without exasperation. And, all our comments will need to be fact (show the evidence) or clearly an opinion (such as: “it seems to me that his organizational procedures are designed to take money and provide little or no service.”).

I’ll provide my own story in a separate blog post to get the ball rolling.

I’ll promote this site on Twitter. And I encourage you all to find any others who belong here and send them to this site. I have read a whole series of complaints about Keith Wellman on the Ripoff Report site. I would hope to find these folks and get their stories posted here.

If you want to post your story here, click on “Log In” in the Meta Menu (bottom of the right sidebar) and then register on this site.

For the time being, I’ll moderate all posting so that I can keep unwanted conversations from this site.
